Big Day Out At Marlborough Festival!
Sunday 22nd June at the Town Hall, 12.30-7pm.
Marlborough Festival presents a free event, for older and vulnerable adults in the Marlborough area, living alone and in care homes. We particularly hope to reach adults who would not normally consider attending festivals through lack of mobility, or through social isolation.
This event has been made possible with the help of Wiltshire Council, the Marlborough Area Board, the Transforming Care of Older People team at KAMP, the organisers of the Town Hall’s free Marlborough Christmas Lunch, and donations from local businesses (including Curate boutique, who continue to support us).
Please register your interest by emailing: info@marlboroughfestival.com, and letting us know you want to come!
If you would like to volunteer to help at the event, please let us know by emailing info@marlboroughfestival.com.
If you are working as a carer, and applying for a loved one or someone in your care, please remember to include yourself on the list. You deserve a break too!
If you require transportation to the Town Hall, please let us know by emailing info@marlboroughfestival.com and giving us an address and a number of passengers, along with any extra needs.
The BJ Richards Trust
Thanks to the BJ Richards Trust, we will have a limited number of tickets for the Priory Gardens event on Saturday 21st June to give away. This is limited to people who are resident in Marlborough. The tickets cover entry for a carer too.
We also have a limited number of free tickets for the Priory Gardens on Saturday 21st June for people outside of Marlborough who identify as elderly/having mobility issues/socially isolated.
